Tang Guozi, or Tang Pastry, traces its origins back to the Tang Dynasty over 1,400

years ago. During that era, tea culture flourished, and the custom of pairing tea with

delicate snacks emerged. Tang Guozi was created specifically to accompany tea during

tea banquets and reached its peak popularity in the Song Dynasty, offering a wide

variety of forms and flavors.

As a significant vessel of traditional Chinese culture, Tang Guozi embodies rich

historical and cultural narratives. It reflects the social life, customs, and

aesthetic ideals of the Tang period. Through the art and flavor of Tang Pastry, one

can truly feel the charm of tradition and develop a deeper sense of identity and pride

【大理·扎染/Dali · Tie-Dye (Zha Ran)】

扎染源自大理的白族古法植物染色技艺，蓝白相间的图案仿佛融入了洱海和苍山的美丽。扎染不仅是一种

Zha Ran, or traditional tie-dye, originates from the Bai ethnic group in Dali and

utilizes ancient plant-based dyeing techniques. The interplay of indigo and white

patterns evokes the natural beauty of Erhai Lake and the Cangshan Mountains.

More than just a craft, tie-dye in Dali represents a way of life. In local studios,

you can take part in the entire dyeing process and create a unique work of art imbued

with your personal emotions and memories. Every finished piece becomes a beautiful

【巍山·甲马/Weishan · Jiamas (Woodblock Prints of Sacred Horses)】

巍山古城的甲马是历经千年的民间艺术，源于古代少数民族对马的崇拜。甲马不仅有祈福、驱邪的功能，

更象征着力量與吉祥。制作过程精妙，艺人用木板雕刻图案后，涂墨、压印，完成拓印。在巍山古城的店

里，你可以亲手體验拓印甲马的过程，既是文化传承的见证，也是极具意义的伴手礼。

The Jiama woodblock prints of Weishan Ancient Town are a form of folk art that has

endured for over a thousand years. Rooted in the ancient worship of horses by ethnic

minorities, these prints were traditionally used to offer blessings, ward off evil,

and symbolize strength and good fortune.

The process of making a Jiama is both intricate and meaningful. Artisans carve patterns

onto wooden blocks, apply ink, and press them onto paper to create vivid impressions.

In Weishan’s historic streets, visitors can experience this traditional printing

firsthand—a powerful form of cultural preservation and a thoughtful, symbolic

keepsake.

【麗江·东巴文字/Lijiang · Dongba Script and Culture】

Dongba culture is the crystallization of the Naxi people’s thousand-year-old

civilization. It encompasses a rich spectrum of art forms, including Dongba script,

Dongba painting, and Dongba papermaking, all of which reflect the Naxi people’s

reverence for nature and their philosophy of harmonious coexistence.

Dongba script is one of the last surviving pictographic writing systems in the world

【石林 / Stone Forest】

第一奇观”和“阿诗玛故乡”的国家重点風景名胜区。

Located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, the Stone Forest is a world-renowned karst

landscape known for its striking geological formations and deep cultural significance.

It was inscribed as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2017. Celebrated for its

exemplary karst topography, the Stone Forest is a key area for studying the Earth's

geological evolution. Regarded as "The First Wonder of the World" and the legendary

"Hometown of Ashima," it is one of China’s most important scenic and cultural heritage

sites.

【官渡古镇 / Guandu Ancient Town】

官渡古镇位于昆明市官渡区，是古滇文化的发祥地之一，拥有悠久的历史和丰富的文化遗产。官渡古镇最

早是滇池岸边的一个名为“涡洞”的渔村古渡口，早在唐代，这里便是南诏、大理国王公贵人遊览滇池时

理想的驻足之地。

官渡金刚塔：又称妙湛寺石塔，建于明朝，是中国现存年代最久的金刚宝座式石塔。

【双廊古镇 /Shuanglang Ancient Town】

双廊古镇位于大理市东北部洱海东北岸，是集自然風光與人文历史于一體的特色小镇，被誉为“苍洱風光

第一镇”。因南诏風情岛、玉几岛分列左右，被“双曲”环抱，清咸丰年间因“二岛”“二曲”同音改为

“双廊”。

Shuanglang Ancient Town is located on the northeastern shore of Erhai Lake, in the

northeast part of Dali City. It is a picturesque destination that harmoniously blends

natural beauty with historical charm and is often praised as the "Number One Scenic

Town of Cangshan and Erhai." Flanked by Nanzhao Folk Island and Yuji Island, the town

was originally known for its “two islands” and “two bays” (both pronounced "Shuang"

in Chinese), and was renamed “Shuanglang” during the Xianfeng reign of the Qing

Dynasty.

【大理圣托里尼/Dali Santorini】

Xizhou Ancient Town, located near Lijiang Old Town, is a charming enclave rich in Naxi cultural

traditions and history. The town’s narrow lanes, traditional architecture, and stone-paved streets

【大理古城 / Dali Ancient City】

有 1200 多年歷史的古城，曾是南詔國和大理國的都城。城牆保存完好，內有特色白族建築和"五華樓"等標

誌性建築。古城內洋人街熱鬧非凡，是體驗白族文化和購物的好去處。

An ancient city with over 1,200 years of history that once served as the capital of the Nanzhao and

Dali Kingdoms. With well-preserved city walls, distinctive Bai architecture, and landmark buildings

like Wuhua Tower, its bustling Foreigner Street is ideal for experiencing Bai culture and shopping.

【巍山古城/Weishan Ancient Town】

巍山古城位于大理白族自治州巍山回族彝族自治县，是中国保存最完好的明清古建筑群之一，也是南诏国

的发祥地.始建于元代（1285 年），明洪武十五年（1382 年）扩建为砖城，现存格局保留明清时期棋盘式布

局，是南诏国早期都城及茶马古道上的重要节点.

Weishan Ancient City is located in Weishan Hui and Yi Autonomous County, Dali Bai Autonomous

Prefecture. It is one of the best preserved ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties in China,

and also the birthplace of Nanzhao. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty (1285) and expanded into a

brick city in the fifteenth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1382). The existing pattern retains the

checkerboard layout in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it is an important node of Nanzhao's early

capital and the ancient tea-horse road.

【巍山文庙/Weishan Confucian temple】

巍山文庙位于大理州巍山县巍山古城西門内，始建于明洪武年间（1368-1398 年），是国家级文物保护单位，

现存建筑群规模宏大，兼具历史、文化與教育价值。明清时期为士子朝觐、百姓景仰的圣地，曾走出 23 位

进士、250 位举人，成为国家历史文化名城-巍山的重要标志。

Weishan Confucian Temple is located in the west gate of Weishan Ancient City, Weishan County, Dali

Prefecture. It was built in the Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty (1368-1398) and is a state-level

cultural relics protection unit. The existing building complex is large in scale and has historical,

cultural and educational values. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a sacred place for

scholars to make pilgrimages and admire by the people. It once went out of 23 scholars and 250

juren, and became an important symbol of Weishan, a famous historical and cultural city in China.

【麗江古城 / Lijiang Old Town】

麗江古城以悠久歷史和獨特納西文化著稱，古樸的青石板路與傳統建築交織出濃厚的歷史韻味。複雜的水

系和曲折小巷展示出多元文化的沉澱，既保留古城風貌，又融入現代生活氣息。漫步其中，仿佛置身時光

長河，是體驗古城魅力和民族風情的理想去處。

Lijiang Old Town is renowned for its rich history and distinctive Naxi culture, preserved beautifully through

winding cobblestone streets and ancient architecture. The town’s intricate water systems, traditional courtyards,

stroll its charming lanes, savor local cuisine, and immerse themselves in a timeless blend of tradition and

modernity. Lijiang Old Town is not only a living testament to history but also a vibrant canvas where cultural

【玉龍雪山 / Jade Dragon Snow Mountain】

海拔 5596 米的雪山，終年積雪，是納西族的神山。搭乘觀光列車和大索道可登高賞景，感受高原壯美風光。

山上氣候多變，植被隨海拔呈現明顯的垂直分佈帶。

A snow-capped mountain standing at 5,596 meters, with year-round snow and sacred to the Naxi

people. Visitors can take a sightseeing train and cable car to enjoy magnificent highland scenery.

The mountain features rapidly changing weather and distinct vertical vegetation zones at different

elevations.

【藍月穀 / Blue Moon Valley】

玉龍雪山腳下的高山溪穀，因湖水呈夢幻藍色而得名。雪山融水形成的湖泊清澈湛藍，在陽光下呈現不同

層次的藍色，被譽為"人間仙境"。

An alpine valley at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, named for its dreamlike blue waters.

The lakes, formed by melting snow, appear in various shades of blue under sunlight and are

described as a "paradise on earth."

【甘海子 / Ganhaizi】

位於麗江古城附近的高原湖泊，"甘海子"在納西語中意為"太陽湖"。湖水清澈，周圍環境幽靜，是當地人休

閒和遊客觀景的好去處，也是攝影愛好者的天堂。

A plateau lake near Lijiang Ancient Town. "Ganhaizi" means "Sun Lake" in the Naxi language. With

crystal clear water and a tranquil environment, it's a great place for locals to relax and tourists to

sightsee, as well as a paradise for photographers.
